Rules

These rules will apply to the Ketera Hytale server and some of the rules will apply to the Ketera Discord server!

Ketera Discord Server Rules

  • Be respectful: Treat others with kindness and respect. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks will be tolerated.

  • Keep it clean: Avoid posting explicit or offensive content, including but not limited to NSFW (Not Safe For Work) material.

  • Stay on topic: Keep discussions relevant to the channels they're in. If you want to discuss something off-topic, find the appropriate channel or create one if necessary.

  • No spamming: Avoid flooding the chat with repeated messages, excessive emojis, or unsolicited advertisements. This includes excessive use of mentions.

  • Respect privacy: Don't share personal information about yourself or others without their consent.

  • No trolling or flaming: Intentionally disruptive behavior, baiting, or provoking arguments will not be tolerated.

  • Use appropriate language: Keep conversations suitable for all ages and avoid excessive swearing or vulgar language.

  • Listen to moderators: Follow the instructions of moderators and administrators. Disputes or concerns can be addressed through direct messages or a designated channel.

  • No self-promotion without permission: Avoid promoting personal projects, servers, or external content without permission from the server staff.

  • Report problems: If you encounter any issues or witness a violation of the rules, report it to the moderators rather than taking matters into your own hands.

  • Respect server structure: Don't create unnecessary channels or rename existing ones without permission. Follow any guidelines for channel use provided by the server staff.

  • No unauthorized bots or automation: Only authorized bots are allowed on the server. Avoid using self-bots or any form of automation without permission.

  • Respect voice chat etiquette: Follow any guidelines provided for voice chat usage, such as not talking over others, muting when necessary, and using push-to-talk if required.

  • You may only have one element. Unless you bought it by the Discord shop or was granted and approved by CosmicEntity303!
  • Respect all players and staff members.
  • No griefing or destroying other players' creations, unless its in a roleplay scenario.
  • No stealing from other players, when their in a sanctuary of haven.
  • No cheating, hacking, or exploiting glitches.
  • No spamming chat or using excessive caps.
  • No offensive language, color racism, or hate speech. Racism against something like humans, demons, or other such things is allowed.
  • No advertising other servers without permission.
  • No harassment or bullying of other players.
  • Use common sense and be considerate of others.
  • No building offensive or inappropriate structures.
  • Respect protected areas and follow build guidelines. 
  • No PvP unless in designated PvP zones.
  • No impersonating staff members or other players.
  • Use appropriate skins and usernames.
  • No begging for items or ranks.
  • Respect the server's economy and trading system.
  • No excessive use of  machines or lag-causing builds.
  • No AFK farming or excessive mob farming.
  • No creating lag machines or causing server performance issues.
  • No using modified clients that provide unfair advantages.
  • Report any bugs or issues to staff members.
  • No sharing personal information about yourself or others.
  • Respect server events and follow event rules.
  • No trolling or intentionally annoying other players.
  • Follow chat rules and guidelines.
  • No exploiting server plugins or commands.
  • No building structures that cause server lag.
  • No building in spawn areas or designated no-build zones. You may build a home in a haven aslong as you ask permission and are given the okay to go through with it.
  • No griefing during PvP events or competitions.
  • No scamming or dishonest trading practices.
  • Follow instructions from staff members.
  • No inappropriate roleplay or behavior.
  • No excessive use of explosives or destructive tools.
  • No using offensive or inappropriate names for characters or entities.
  • Respect server downtime and maintenance periods.
  • No using offensive or inappropriate signs or banners.
  • No building or participating in laggy mob farms.
  • No inappropriate behavior in voice chat.
  • No modifying terrain outside designated areas.
  • Respect the server's rules and guidelines at all times.
  • Roleplay as your chosen character or faction consistently.
  • Develop and maintain a backstory for your character.
  • Create meaningful interactions with other players.
  • No power gaming or god-modding during roleplay scenarios.
  • Avoid meta-gaming (using out-of-character knowledge in-character).
  • Use appropriate emotes and actions during roleplay.
  • Respect the lore and world-building established by the server.
  • Participate in server-wide events and storylines.
  • Keep in-character and out-of-character communication separate.
  • Respect the decisions and actions of other players' characters.
  • No killing or attacking other players without proper roleplay justification.
  • Resolve conflicts through roleplay rather than resorting to violence.
  • Seek permission from staff before introducing major plotlines or events.
  • Maintain a balance between serious and light-hearted roleplay.
  • No creating overpowered characters or abilities.
  • Collaborate with other players to create engaging storylines.
  • No excessive use of magic or supernatural abilities without reason.
  • Develop relationships and rivalries with other characters naturally.
  • No excessive use of technology or futuristic elements in medieval settings.
  • Participate in server-wide discussions and feedback sessions.
  • No spamming roleplay actions or dialogue.
  • Avoid disrupting ongoing roleplay scenes unnecessarily.
  • Respect the decisions of staff members during roleplay scenarios.
  • No manipulating or controlling other players' characters without permission.
  • Maintain realism within the established fantasy setting.
  • No creating characters based on existing copyrighted material.
  • No exploiting loopholes in the roleplay system for personal gain.
  • Develop your character's personality and traits over time.
  • Avoid creating characters solely for the purpose of causing chaos.
  • No using out-of-character knowledge to gain advantages in roleplay.
  • Respect the boundaries and comfort levels of other players during roleplay.
  • No engaging in inappropriate or explicit roleplay scenarios.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling during roleplay interactions.
  • No interrupting ongoing roleplay scenes without permission.
  • Embrace failure and setbacks as part of character development.
  • No bringing real-world politics or controversial topics into roleplay.
  • Use realistic limitations for your character's abilities and skills.
  • No creating characters with excessively tragic or edgy backstories.
  • Contribute to the ongoing narrative of the server through roleplay.
  • No forcing roleplay interactions on unwilling participants.
  • Use descriptive language to enhance roleplay scenes.
  • Respect the cultural norms and traditions established by the server.
  • No creating characters with unrealistic physical attributes or powers.
  • Encourage creativity and originality in character concepts.
  • No breaking character or immersion during roleplay sessions.
  • Use in-game mechanics to support roleplay interactions.
  • Respect the time and effort other players invest in roleplay.
  • No using glitches or exploits to gain unfair advantages in roleplay.
  • Embrace the consequences of your character's actions.
  • No creating characters with inappropriate or offensive names.
  • Use character flaws to drive roleplay interactions and growth.
  • Respect the pacing and flow of roleplay scenes.
  • Seek consent from other players before involving them in your character's storyline.
  • Use discretion when introducing mature themes or content in roleplay.
  • Respect the server's rules regarding character progression and development.
  • No creating characters that disrupt the established lore or setting.
  • Participate in character-driven plot arcs and developments.
  • No engaging in disruptive behavior during server-wide events.
  • Have fun and contribute positively to the roleplay community!
